The duties, duties and powers of the registrar except as provided in the Act shall be as follows:-

(a) To do the necessary work in relation to the protection of copyright,
(b) Registering the copyright and keeping its details up-to-date,
(c) To conduct an on-site inspection of the institution and give necessary instructions to correct any deficiency in the work done by such institution.
